Terms and conditions

  1. Making a booking
    • If you would like to book a course, please email us or call us to let us know which course you would like to book, we would send you an invoice for the course, and you have to complete the payment to secure the booking of the course. By making the payment, you affirm that you are authorised to form contracts on behalf of your organisation and that you accept these terms and conditions. The booking is a contract between your organisation and The China Mix Ltd.
    • You will receive an email from us to confirm the booking has been made successfully. If you have not received an email within a couple of hours, you must let us know.
    • Your booking is for a specific time, date and location and number of delegates.
  2. Your obligations
    • You agree to provide a suitable venue for the training event. If you are not sure whether your venue is appropriate, please contact us to discuss.
  3. Cancellation policy
    • If you want to reduce the number of delegates on a booked course or cancel your booked course entirely…You may do so up to one calendar month before your course is due to take place (for example, if your booking is for 20 March, that means on any day up to and including 20 February) and we will provide a refund. If we are refunding you for cancellation of the whole booked course, we will return your entire booking payment less a cancellation fee of £80. If you are reducing the number of delegates, we will return a sum equal to the per-delegate fees you originally paid for the cancelled delegates, less a cancellation fee of £80. If you cancel your booking or reduce the number of delegates booked on a course with less than one month’s notice we will not refund your booking payment.
    • If you want to change the time of day or the location of your booked course… Let us know. At our sole discretion and subject to the availability of our instructors, we may agree to move the start time or venue of a booked course. The more notice you give us the more likely we are to be able to agree to such requests.
    • If you want to change the date of your booked course… Subject to the availability of our instructors, we will change the date of your booking to a new date, so long as the new date is no later than one calendar month after the date you originally booked. For example, if your course is booked for 20 March, you may change your booking to any date for which our instructors are available, up to and including 20 April in the same year. We are not able to postpone bookings by more than one calendar month so if you wish to postpone your booking by more than this period you will need to cancel it and make a fresh booking.
    • If you want to increase the number of delegates on a booked course… We will usually be able to accommodate them, on payment of the corresponding number of per-delegate fees. However, if you give us very short notice of additional delegates, we may not be able to provide them with the resource packs that other delegates are given, so please give us as much notice as you can. The service provided to any additional delegates will be covered by these terms and conditions in the same way as the rest of the booking.
    • Any changes to your booking, including cancellations, are only effective when we have confirmed them in writing. If you do not receive email confirmation of changes you must get in touch to let us know.
  4. Course changes and cancellation by CLC Ltd
    • We reserve the right to cancel a booked course at any time. If we do so, and if we are not able to come to an agreement on a new date for the booking, we will offer you a full refund. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking we will give you as much notice as we can, but in exceptional cases, for example where a cancellation is due to instructor illness, it may not be possible to give you advanced notice of cancellation.
    • We will not be liable for any loss or expenses that you incur as a result of our cancellation of your booking.
    • We reserve the right to alter the content and structure of our course at our discretion, and to substitute instructors, without notice or liability.
  5. Refunds
    • If we need to refund part or all of your payment, we will do so within one calendar month of our notification to you that you are due a refund. We will usually use the same service you used to pay us.
  6. Copyright, intellectual property and confidentiality
    • The copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to all course content and learning resources provided under this agreement is and will remain the property of CLC Ltd; no recording or copying is permitted without express permission of CLC Ltd.
    • Each party agrees with the other not to divulge or allow to be divulged any confidential information relating to the other’s business or affairs other than to its employees or subcontractors who need to know such information, or where the other party has consented to the disclosure.
  7. Warranties and liabilities
    • CLC Ltd’s aggregate liability, including the liability of its partners, agents, subcontractors and employees in respect of any services provided to you by CLC Ltd under this contract will be limited to the amount of your booking payment.
    • We are not liable for any expenses arising from the performance your obligations under this agreement. We are not liable for any losses, direct or indirect, that you or any third party incurs as a result of the application of the contents of our courses, or as a result of your decision to book a course with us. CLC Ltd will not be held responsible for actions taken by you, your agents or employees, or by third parties, as a result of information provided in our training courses.
